Blackboard organizations will remain in Blackboard through the end of the fall semester. It will not be possible to move all Blackboard organizations (academic groups, department resources, training and procedure documents, distribution lists, and more) to Brightspace.
Faculty scheduled to teach this Summer or Fall can log into Brockport’s newBrightspace Learning Management Systemto access training modules. If faculty want to work in a development shell, have a course imported into Brightspace, or adopt Brightspace for their Fall 2022 courses, then an IT Service Desk request must be submitted.
The new learning management system called Brightspace is now live for Summer 2022 Pilot courses. Summer pilot faculty and students registered in a pilot course can access Brightspace viaQuicklinks.
