Dr. Henry “Cody” Miller, Assistant Professor of English education, and Mario Worlds, a doctoral candidate at the University of Florida, co-authored an academic column entitled “Academic Tracking, Canonical Literature, and Disrupting for New Possibilities” published in the English Journal. In the column, they consider how academic tracking and canonical literature work in tandem to uphold white supremacist beliefs about education, literacy, and literature.
