Retirement Reception for Dr. Patti Follansbee

After 41 years at SUNY Brockport, Dr. Patti Follansbee is retiring. Join us for hors d’oeuvres on Monday, January 22, at Bill Gray’s Tap Room between 3 - 5 pm.

Light refreshments will be served to celebrate, reminisce, and congratulate Dr. Patti Follansbee’s successful career. Let’s all wish her the best in her upcoming retirement.

Highlights of Dr. Follansbee’s Successful Career & Achievements:

  • Dr. Follansbee spent 33 years with the Health Science Department, which she Chaired for four years.
  • Dr. Follansbee Chaired the newly formed Department of Healthcare Studies for six years.
  • Within the Healthcare Studies Department, Addictions and Behavioral Health program, she has been part of the faculty for 9.5 years.
  • She completed a Post-Graduate program in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Rochester, which complimented her work in health education and addictions.

Among the 40 years of varied university-wide services, these two were special to Dr. Follansbee:

  • Serving on the Women and Gender Studies Board.
  • Serving for 10 years as a campus Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Counselor.
