Dr. Sadia Cheema, Assistant Professor of public relations, is a lead author on a study published by the Journal of Media Psychology this month.
According to Cheema and her co-author, the “study examined environmental contingencies (e.g., badgification) and individual factors (e.g., causality orientation) as a potential avenue for gamification to encourage adoption of issue-relevant behaviors via internalization processes.”
Cheema is a member of the Department of Journalism, Broadcasting, and Public Relations.
