If you’re interested in questions like…
- Is capitalism compatible with social justice?
- Why were the tyrannical regimes of the 20th century so much more brutal than those of previous centuries?
- How did the world get so much richer between 1870 and 2010?
- Why don’t we have flying cars yet?
…then the LBY Reading Group is a great opportunity to explore these and related issues with both peers and experts.
The Reading Group is worth one credit hour of course credit, with in-depth and student-led discussions, so it’s a great way to round out a transcript and signal initiative and critical thinking to employers. Honors students who participate are eligible to receive HON 380 credit. Plus, the book is free!
The application deadline is December 8, but don’t wait – earlier applications are more likely to be accepted.
