Presentation Accepted at the Wisconsin League of Nursing Conference
A presentation based on data collected from a study of current Brockport RN to BSN students has been accepted at the Wisconsin League of Nursing Conference.
Michael Starke (Instructor in Nursing), Dr. D’Arcy Gaisser (Associate Professor in Nursing), and Dr. Logan Rath (Librarian) had an abstract and presentation accepted for the Wisconsin League of Nursing conference, “Reaching, Teaching and Launching Nurses to Practice: Part II.”
The presentation focused on limitations and barriers to learning in RN to BSN students, based on data collected from a study of current Brockport RN to BSN students. Findings showed that while 74% of students felt connected to course faculty, they also showed a desire for professors to have office hours both early in the morning and late at night (8 - 10 am and 8 - 10 pm).
