Criminal Justice Faculty Members Present at National Conference

Faculty members from the Department of Criminal Justice will be presenting their research at the American Society of Criminology annual conference in Philadelphia, PA.

Faculty members from the Department of Criminal Justice will be presenting their research at the annual meeting of the American Society of Criminology in Philadelphia, PA. This research includes collaborations from within SUNY Brockport and with colleagues from other universities.

  • Dr. Andrew Baranauskas, Dr. Katharina Neissl, and Dr. Joseph Cochran will be presenting a paper entitled “The Prejudicial Foundations of Public Support for Abortion Prosecutions: A Critical Analysis.”
  • Dr. Haci Duru and Dr. Joseph Cochran have collaborated with Dr. Keith Baker from the Department of Public Administration. They will be presenting their project “Predicting Police Militarization Using an Agent-Based Model.”
  • Dr. MoonSun Kim will be presenting on “Socioeconomic Effects on Intimate Partner Violence During COVID-19” with Hannah Kim from the University of Chicago.
  • Dr. Bora Lee and Dr. Katharina Neissl will be presenting a project entitled, “Impact of the Lockdown During the COVID-19 on Cyber Delinquency.”
