BASC Awarded ‘Employer of the Year’ from Arc of Monroe
BASC was awarded “Employer of the Year” from the Arc of Monroe, an organization that creates opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Brockport Auxiliary Service Corporation was recognized by the Arc of Monroe at their “A Toast to the Arc” event on Friday, November 3, where they were awarded the Employer of the Year award.
This award is “given to an organization for their dedication and unwavering commitment to creating opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to build their skills, achieve goals, gain independence, and self-confidence to move forward in their future endeavors.” BASC currently has five valued team members who are a part of the Arc, and has employed several people from the Arc’s Job Path program over the years.
BASC is grateful for their long successful partnership with the Arc of Monroe. This partnership speaks to BASC’s and the Arc’s shared values of recognizing the strength that a diverse and inclusive team creates.
