What brought you to Brockport?

“I came to Brockport for the 3+3 Doctor of Physical Therapy program. I love that it allows me to get a doctoral degree in just six years.”

What’s your favorite part about Brockport now that you’re here?

“My favorite part about Brockport is how welcoming the community is here! I also love the family I’ve developed in the Honors College.”

Favorite three items:

1. Wall decorations! I love the lights because they play a big role in making the dorm look comfortable and welcoming. Also, my posters are from my high school musicals that I was featured in, so they’re very important to me. Lastly, I have a picture frame collage of my family and friends.
2. Vanity Mirror. It compliments the room!
3. My bed. I find the colors are so pretty and it’s so comfortable. 

Where did you do most of your décor shopping?

Amazon, Bed Bath and Beyond, Target, and Burlington.

Tips for Decorating a Dorm Room:

“First and foremost, make it feel like home. I also found a lot of inspiration by going on Pinterest and watching a lot of dorm videos on YouTube.”

“I can’t live without my bed.”

Advice for next year’s freshmen?

“Use your vertical space as much as possible. It will make your room feel bigger!”
