Environmental Science & Ecology Faculty Publishes Peer-Reviewed Article
Dr. Matthew Altenritter (Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Science and Ecology) co-authored an article in the journal Environmental Biology of Fishes.
Dr. Matthew Altenritter co-authored “Reconstructing consequences of lifetime hypoxia exposure on metabolism of demersal fish in the northern Gulf of Mexico using otolith chemistry” with collaborators at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi.
This work highlights the sublethal effects of hypoxia exposure on fish in the Gulf of Mexico with implications for understanding long-term consequences of hypoxia on fisheries dynamics.
