UUP Discretionary Salary Increases (DSI)

According to the Agreement between New York State and United University Professions (UUP), the State shall make available an amount equal to 0.5 percent of the total of the salaries of UUP members on the payroll as of June 30, 2020, for distribution at the discretion of the President to incumbents on the payroll on June 30, 2020. Discretionary Salary Increases (DSI) may be awarded to full-time and part-time UUP represented employees.

Although SUNY has not yet finalized the effective date that the DSI awards will be paid, we are moving forward with this process. We will communicate the payroll number where awards will be paid as soon as the information is finalized.

UUP employees who were on payroll on June 30, 2020, and will be on payroll on the date of payment, which is TBD, will be eligible for DSI.

Employees: (1) may self-nominate or, (2) may be nominated.
