Washington DC Intern Attends Ms. Magazine 50 Year Publication Celebration held at the Capital
Women & Gender Studies (WGS) Major, Keegan Beamish, is fulfilling a WGS Internship with the Washington DC Program where she in interning at the National Organization for Women (NOW). Keegan recently attended Ms. Magazine’s 50 Year Publication Celebration held at the Capital Building.
Keegan attended the Ms. Magazine celebration event at the Capital on Wednesday evening, September 27, 2023.
Some of the officials at the event who Keegan was among included Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi, the Democratic Women’s Caucus Chair Lois Frankel, Representatives Jennifer McClellan and Jan Schakowsky, AAUW President Gloria Blackwell, Executive Editor of Ms Magazine, Katherine Spillar, and National Women’s Studies Association President Kaye Wise Whitehead.
