Social Work Professor Kicks-off Faculty Ambassador Program

Shirin Sultana (Assistant Professor of Social Work) presented to over 250 prospective students and parents at the American Corner (US Embassy) in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Her presentation topic was entitled “Financing Your Studies Abroad.”
Shirin Sultana, Assistant Professor of Social Work, presented to over 250 prospective students and parents at the American Corner (EducationUSA) in Dhaka, Bangladesh this past summer. Her presentation topic was entitled Financing Your Studies Abroad. She also shared her experience as an international student who started her educational journey at the very same space. She was also able to meet with a few of Brockport’s agent partners.
The Faculty Ambassador Program aims to promote global engagement and international recruitment efforts at SUNY Brockport by complementing existing international travel plans of selected faculty to host or attend international events on behalf of the university.
Through the program, faculty ambassadors will have the chance to share their experiences and expertise with prospective students, parents, and international partners.
