Your FAFSA application will look different this time around! Here’s what you need to know about the 2024-2025 FAFSA, which will be released January 1, 2024.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid will open for applications on or around January 1, 2024, due to the FAFSA Simplification Act.
So, what is the FAFSA Simplification Act?
It’s a new initiative designed to:
- Provide a more streamlined application process and user-experience for students and families
- Expand eligibility for federal financial aid
- Reduce barriers
