Environmental Science & Ecology Professor Receives Research Grant
Dr. Jacques Rinchard received a $5,100 research grant from the Department of Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology at The Ohio State University to investigate trophic interactions of blue and channel catfish in Ohio reservoirs
Dr. Jacques Rinchard, Department of Environmental Science and Ecology, has received funding from Ohio State University’s Department of Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology to investigate tropic interactions of blue and channel catfish in Ohio reservoirs.
Fatty acid signatures of blue and channel catfish species and their potential prey will be quantified to infer about their trophic interactions. Students in Dr. Rinchard’s lab will be directly involved in this research project.
The award will be administered by The Research Foundation for SUNY Brockport through the Scholarship, Research & Sponsored Programs Office.
