Women & Gender Studies Faculty Co-authored Paper Wins Award
Bek Orr (Assistant Professor of Women and Gender Studies) co-authored a paper which won the Top Faculty Paper Award at the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication conference.
Orr’s co-authored paper won the Top Faculty Paper Award for the LGBTQ Interest Group at the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication conference earlier this month.
The revised manuscript, “Understanding the Twitter Discourse Around Anti-LGBTQIA+ Legislation Through Topic Modeling, Sentiment Analysis, and Toxicity Detection,” has been submitted for publication in Social Media + Society.
