Participate in our Collection Drive for the Upcoming Pantry at SUNY Brockport
To kick off the 2023-2024 academic year, we are organizing a campus food drive. This event is significant, as it serves to support our community, and anticipates the grand opening of the Pantry at SUNY Brockport.
Health Promotion and Prevention Education (HPPE) and the Hazen Center for Integrated Care is excited to announce the opening of The Pantry at SUNY Brockport. In partnership with FoodLink, this basic needs resource will provide access to food, toiletries, menstrual products, diapers, and more to the students, faculty, and staff of the university - and the Brockport community.
To mark this important opportunity and resource at SUNY Brockport, we encourage members of the University community to consider participating in our #StompOutHunger Fall ’23 Food Drive.
Here’s ideas of items you could donate:
- Canned goods
- Frozen foods
- Refrigerated foods
- Diapers
- Baby food/formula
- Menstrual products
- Toilet paper/paper towels.
Donations can be dropped off at Dailey Hall, Room 103 from August 25, 2023 through September 5, 2023.
If you’re feeling generous, you can make a one time or repeating donation to our #StompOutHunger fund in support of student food insecurity. Our fund can be found here.
