It Begins in Brockport
SUNY Brockport is working with a local nonprofit to enhance creative placemaking in our community. It Begins in Brockport is a makerspace located in the Hart Gallery 27 on Market Street with a mission to empower community innovation and learning through accessible digital fabrication.
Services currently include workshops and training on digital fabrication tools (3D printers, laser cutter, CNC mill, vinyl cutter, electronics workbench) and membership access to pursue your own creative ideas. In the coming months, we will hold open houses for faculty and staff so that we may share how the makerspace can be incorporated into courses and instructional programs.
