Things to Know, the Student E-Newsletter, Returns August 28
Make sure students are in the know! Begin submitting news and events for inclusion in our student e-newsletter, which will resume every Monday throughout the semester.
The Student E-Newsletter, “Things to Know”, is a weekly e-newsletter distributed to all students on Monday mornings during the semester. This newsletter serves as an important communication tool for current students, informing them of events, key dates, and initiatives from across campus.
Be sure your LiveWhale news and event items are suggested to the “Things to Know” group by Thursday at 4pm the week prior to when you intend your item to run.
As a reminder, University Communications will curate newsletter content from the Things to Know group based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to:
- relevance to a broad student audience
- timeliness of the submission
- timeliness of the event or initiative
- quality of the content (i.e. features an appropriate description that contains all relevant information).
Student feedback has indicated the need to keep this newsletter brief, therefore not all suggested items will be selected for publication.
