Fall 2023 Student Employment
Keep up to date with information regarding Student Employment for the Fall 2023 semester including start dates, referrals, work-study awards, and supervisor trainings.
Fall referrals are now open and available! Dates for fall student employment:
- August 17, 2023 - First Possible Day for Fall Temp Services
- August 17 - August 24 - Work-Study students hired to start early/training must be paid with temp services
- August 24, 2023 - Last Day Summer Temp Service students can work
- August 25, 2023 - First Day Possible for Work-Study (Referral required)
Reminders:
- VP Approvals are no longer required!
- All students must have a referral completed to begin working
- New student employees must receive a green slip from Career Services before they may begin working
- All positions must be posted through Handshake
- Check the supervisor group in Teams – sub channel Work-study – files - to find up to date work-study eligible students
- Supervisor trainings are available on an individual basis – reach out to mhiddie@brockport.edu to request
