Education Professor Completes Training on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
Dr. Jie Zhang recently completed various Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion training programs offered by the SUNY Center for Professional Development (CPD), SUNY United University Professions (UUP), and New York State United Teachers (NYSUT).
Dr. Jie Zhang (Professor of Special Education) participated in the SUNY CPD Diversity Professional Development Program (2022-23) and received the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Teaching and Learning Certificate. She was selected to join the SUNY UUP Capacity Building Team (CBT) Training on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (January - June 2023) and received the Certificate of Completion. In July, Dr. Zhang completed the Safe Zone and Sticks and Stones: Continuing the Conversation Workshops and the Social Justice: Training of Trainers Workshops offered by NYSUT.

Appreciation also goes to Susie Osher and Lisa Mogle for helping with the registration for the CPD program.
