Office Closures on July 3, 2023
View a list of all University offices that will be closed on Monday, July 3 in observance of July 4.
President’s Cabinet has approved closing of certain University offices on Monday, July 3, 2023 in advance of the July 4th holiday. Employees are encouraged to take time off with supervisor approval, and will need to charge their absence to accumulated leave accruals, as appropriate. If employees do not have leave accruals available to use or have a need to work during this time, they should contact their supervisor to discuss their plans and to identify a possible alternate work location as needed.
The following Divisional offices will be closed on July 3:
Academic Affairs:
- Honors College
- Drake Library (references services will be remote and available via email or video chat)
- Academic Success Center
- Career Services
- Office of the Provost
- Dean’s Office, EHHS
Administration and Finance Division:
- BASC’s Administrative Offices and most venues
- BITS’ Aademic Technology Support Department
- Budget Office
- Student Accounts and Accounting
- Print Shop
- Mailroom
- Central Receiving
- Central Stores
- Human Resources
Enrollment Management Division:
- Career Services
- EOP
- Financial Aid
- Registration and Records
- UG Admissions
- Enrollment Management VP Office
Student Affairs Division:
- Hazen Center for Integrated Care
- Residential Life/Learning Communities
- Office of Student Conduct
- Student Union Leadership and Activities/Seymour College Union
- Student Affairs VP Office
All other campus offices not listed as closed will be open with employees working either on-site or remotely. The University will return to normal operations on Wednesday, July 5.
