Environmental Science & Ecology Professor Receives Two Research Grants
Dr. Jacques Rinchard received two research grants; $3,600 from the Colorado Department of Natural Resources Parks and Wildlife Division and $3,430 from the US Fish and Wildlife Service Abernathy Fish Technology Center in Washington.
Dr. Rinchard receives two research grants:
- Colorado Department of Natural Resources Parks and Wildlife Division for $3,600 to analyze the thiamine concentrations in eggs of Kokanee Salmon.
- US Fish and Wildlife Service Abernathy Fish Technology Center in Washington for $3,430 to analyze the thiamine concentrations in coho salmon and steelhead trout.
The thiamine concentrations in both projects will be analyzed using high performance liquid chromatography. Several Environmental Science and Ecology graduate and undergraduate students will be involved in these projects.
The grants will be administered by The Research Foundation for SUNY Brockport under the Scholarship, Research & Sponsored Programs Office.
