Advantage Federal Credit Union Awards Inaugural Scholarship to SUNY Brockport Student

Brockport alum Jeffrey Bocach (AFCU President and CEO), presented the inaugural Advantage Health and Wellness Award to Kyle Walsh ’23. Walsh maintained a 4.0 GPA in his senior year and is continuing his graduate studies to receive a doctorate in physical therapy.

Long known for its commitment to supporting education and financial literacy in the community, Advantage Federal Credit Union (AFCU) expanded its scholarship reach this week with a first-time award recognizing SUNY Brockport’s popular majors in Health Professions, Fitness, Kinesiology and related disciplines. Kyle Walsh ’23 graduated in May with a degree in the field of Exercise Science. 

“Kyle’s career aspirations in physical therapy align perfectly with the Advantage Federal Credit Union mission of ‘people helping people,’” said Bocach. “We are proud to expand our partnership with SUNY Brockport and wish Kyle the best of luck as he furthers his education.”
