Counselor Education Faculty Invited as Panelist for REAL Conversations

Rafael Outland was an invited panelist for a series titled, “REAL – Rochester Equity & Access Leadership – Conversations.”

Rafael Outland (Assistant Professor in the Department of Counselor Education), was an invited panelist for the series titled, “REAL – Rochester Equity & Access Leadership – Conversations.” The event was sponsored by the University of Rochester and consisted of an alumni panel of mental health experts that addressed the profound and compound effects the concurrent public health crises of COVID-19 and longstanding systemic racism have on mental health and exacerbated for communities of color. The panel explored both issues and healthy strategies for perseverance and resilience.
