Graduate Students Present Research at Northeastern Fish & Wildlife Conference

Three Environmental Science and Ecology graduate students present their Masters of Science research at 78th annual Northeastern Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies Conference in Hershey, PA.

Jacob Hewitt (Estimating annual recruitment of sea ducks in the Atlantic Flyway using a photographic survey), Kayleigh Filkins (American Woodcock Resource Selection in New York State) and Daria Sparks (Migratory Movements of Mallards in the Atlantic Flyway: Early Insights from GPS-GSM Tracking), graduate students in Environmental Science and Ecology, gave oral presentations showcasing their research projects.

The students are advised by Dr. Jake Straub, Senior Research Associate in Environmental Science. The students were awarded travel grants sponsored by the Research Foundation which allowed them to attend the meeting.
