Call for Participants: Book Club on Faculty & Staff Wellbeing

Thanks to the sponsorship from the EagleCares Mental Health Mini-Grant, up to 23 faculty and staff participants can participate in the one-year-long book club. The book club will read three books on faculty/educator wellbeing, connect with each other, and discuss strategies to recharge and rejuvenate their selves to better support their students. The club will work together to create a learning community, strengthen the sense of belonging, and contribute to building a better Brockport at which to work.
When: The book club will have a kickoff meeting before the end of spring 2023, meet monthly in the school year of 2023-2024, and conclude at the end of spring 2024. The time/dates will be determined based on the participants’ availability.
Where: The book club will meet at the CELT, main campus, and REOC, Downtown Rochester with the Teams online options.
