Dr. Jacques Rinchard, Environmental Science and Ecology, received a research grant of $9,240 from Ohio State University.
The project aims to better understand the ecology of blue and channel catfish in Ohio reservoirs. Dr. Rinchard and his students will characterize the fatty acid signatures of catfish species and their potential prey, to make inferences about their trophic interactions.
The award will be administered by The Research Foundation for SUNY under the Scholarship, Research & Sponsored Programs Office.
