RN to BSN Nursing Student Serving Medical Mission in Ecuador
RN to BSN student Wilfredo Rivera RN is currently serving on a medical mission trip to Ecuador with the HUGS Foundation as part of an OR team that is there to perform repairs on patients with ear microtia.
Rivera has completed a siliair trip to Columbia in the past, and is also planning a second trip in September of this year with the same group to assist with cleft lip and palate repair surgeries in Guatemala. He is a student in the RN to BSN program at SUNY Brockport and is keeping up with his online classes while participating in voluntary medical missions.
