Chi Alpha Epsilon (XAE) Honor Society is a national organization founded at West Chester University of Pennsylvania, and was organized in 1989. XAE at SUNY Brockport was recently chartered in 2008 with two primary goals: to formally recognize the outstanding academic achievement of EOP students; and to motivate current and future EOP students to strive for high academic goals.
Chi Alpha Epsilon was formed to recognize the academic achievements of students admitted to colleges and the universities through non-traditional criteria. Its purposes are to promote continued high academic standards, to foster increased communication among its members, and to honor academic excellence achieved by those students.

The Arthur O. Eve Opportunity for Higher Education Program’s (EOP) Chi Alpha Epsilon National Honor Society chapter will be holding its 15th Annual Induction Ceremony at SUNY Brockport.
