Trauma, Illness & Grief (TIG): Mental Health Training & Info Session
Help support our campus in the management of critical incidents. Learn more about the Trauma, Illness and Grief (TIG) Training for Higher Education, available through the Upstate New York College Collaboration (UNYCC) this April.
The Trauma, Illness and Grief (TIG) in Higher Education initiative, which launched in spring 2022, is a partnership with the Upstate New York College Collaboration (UNYCC) and Coordinated Care Services, Inc., (CCSI). Brockport was one of six institutions that participated in the pilot initiative to bring the Consortium on TIG to their campuses.
CCSI is the organization that delivers the trauma response program to assist institutions in effectively responding to the challenges facing students and campuses more broadly. This seven module training is being offered starting this April and includes virtual and in person learning for any faculty or staff member interested in learning how to help support our campus in the management of critical incidents.
