Women & Keyboards Concert Featured by WXXI
Tamara Wilcox’s keyboard recital on unusual keyboards and women composers was featured in the news at WXXI.
Tamara Wilcox was interviewed by Mona Seghatoleslami and photographed by Max Schulte for her concert featuring Brockport’s collection of interesting and unusual keyboards. The concert also focuses on women composers of these usual instruments.
Wilcox recital of women’s music features five different keyboards including fortepiano, harpsichord, and toy piano. She has collected music from living female composers as well as historical.
The concert was held on February 27, 7:30 pm at the Tower Mainstage.
