The exhibition relates the lobby footsteps to signals from natural earthquakes. Her work also includes a real time display of current earthquakes on high resolution satellite images.
Display on Seismic Footsteps Featured in Lennon Hall
Evyn Meldrum created seismology-themed displays in the Lennon Hall lobby with guidance from Dr. Daisuke Kobayashi. Her work includes the installation of a seismometer that picks up small vibrations of footsteps in the lobby and displays them in a computer monitor.
