Apply Now: Faculty Co-Chair Elect for the Joint Planning & Budget Committee

Applications are being accepted to serve in a leadership role on campus as the Faculty Co-Chair Elect of the Joint Planning and Budget Committee (JPBC) for a one-year term beginning in Fall 2023 followed by a three-year term as the Faculty Co-Chair beginning in Fall 2024.

The JPBC is a presidential advisory committee representing the University community. It serves as the institutional oversight body to ensure that institutional goals and division level planning and budgeting are interlinked and informed by assessment to advance the strategic goals and priorities established in Building a Better Brockport, the strategic plan for the University.

Applications are being accepted to serve as the Faculty* Co-Chair Elect of the JPBC for a one-year term beginning in Fall 2023 followed by a three-year term as the Faculty Co-Chair beginning in Fall 2024.

The Faculty Co-Chair elect serves alongside the current Faculty Co-Chair and the Vice President for Administration and Finance (the other Co-Chair of JPBC) for one year. Subsequently, they will assume the role of Faculty Co-Chair of JPBC for three years working with the Vice President for Administration and Finance to lead JPBC. In total, a four-year commitment is required.

Applicants must be available to attend JPBC meetings, held on select Thursdays from 8:30-10:30 am. This position requires a four-year commitment beginning in Fall 2023 and terminating at the end of the spring 2027 semester.

*Faculty refers to all full-time tenured or tenure-track teaching faculty and librarians, including those teaching in programs reporting to the Vice Provost.
