>>Alum Troy Pearley ’92, the Executive VP at Divine Chocolate who was inducted into the Candy Hall of Fame back in October, will be on campus to speak with students in a number of settings later this month, including as part of a lecture on the afternoon of Monday, March 27. Stay tuned for more details to be announced in the coming weeks.
>>We’d like to salute the 60 Golden Eagles that joined our Alumni Event during the Rochester Americans Kids Day last month. It was a great turnout and tremendous game even if the hometown team fell in overtime.
>>In the News: Eugene Spafford ’79: Malware Nemesis; History/Football alum Scott Kaniecki ’08 helped lead the Philadelphia Eagles to the Super Bowl; Jane (Purcell) Dashow ’83 appeared in Pepsi’s Super Bowl advertisement featuring Steve Martin.
>>The roots run deep in SUNY Brockport baseball head coach Justin Beach’s ’03 coaching tree. He has an abundance of former Golden Eagles in the collegiate ranks or higher including: Casey Job ’12, Seve Kowalski ’17, Paul Ludden ’18, Ben Martin, Mike McFerran, Mike Meola ’20, Maddux Minton, Shawn Peake ’15, Nicholas Pontari ’16, Casey Scott ’08, Anthony Spataro ’16, and James Williamson ’13/’17.
