Nominate a Colleague, Department, and/or Program for an EMSA Award

The Division of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs (EMSA) is recognizing faculty/staff, departments and/or a program for their outstanding contributions throughout the academic year.

Our goal is to recognize the resiliency, dedication, and persistence of our colleagues. The previous year has continued to be challenging, yet many of our colleagues, departments, and/or programs have continued to persevere and go above and beyond to provide holistic services for our students.

There are six award categories including Campus Partner, Collaboration, EDI, Outstanding New Professional, Outstanding Support Staff, and an Innovation Award. In addition to the six categories, there will be an opportunity during the 2022-2023 EMSA Awards ceremony in April to do a KUDOS Shout-out to a colleague during the open mic session.

EMSA Awards Nomination Procedures

To nominate a colleague, department, or program for the respective category:                  

  1. Prepare a succinct overview (~300 words) describing the accomplishments that directly qualify the nominee/department/program for the specific award category,
  2. Submit one letter of support,
  3. Submit your nominations online by Friday, March 3, 2023.

The EMSA Great Place To Work Award Selection committee will select one recipient in each of the six award categories. Award winners will receive a certificate and will be recognized at the 2022-2023 EMSA Annual Awards Celebration, April 20 from 3-4 pm in Cooper Hall, NY Room.
