Golden Eagle Orientation Campus-wide Meeting
Interested in improving Golden Eagle Orientation? Want to get your office or department involved? Have ideas about how to engage our incoming first-years?
The Academic Success Center will hold a campus-wide meeting to engage faculty and staff in how to continuously improve Golden Eagle Orientation, make it relevant to today’s students, expand involvement from the university, and make our practices more impactful for retention and recruitment.
The new Assistant Director for New Student Programs, Alex Hopkins-Ives, will be leading a campus-wide meeting for any and all interested faculty and staff to join in for a thought exchange.
A specific date, time, and location will be forthcoming. In the meantime, please engage with your colleagues about how you might get involved! All first-year orientations benefit from a university-wide approach, and we are aiming to increase our campus engagement for the benefit of our new students.
