Basic Needs Drive
Traveling this holiday season? Staying in a hotel? Bring your unopened hotel toiletries back with you to donate for the Health Promotion and Prevention Education Basics Needs Drive.
In an effort to continue meeting the basic needs of our students, Health Promotion and Prevention Education will be running a donation drive in advance of the holiday season’s travel.
We have seen an increased request for basics like shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc., this semester.
If you’re traveling this holiday season, please consider scooping up the unused hotel toiletries for donation to the Queer Closet. Donations will be collected in a box outside our office (Seymour B124) from now until the start of the spring semester.
Additionally, we are continuing to collect donations for our Menstrual Justice for All program. To date, this initiative has distributed 1130 tampons and 1145 pads across campus, and the demand remains high. Donations can also be left in the box outside of SEYB124.
