The faculty and librarian team engaged participants in a discussion of practical ways to incorporate inclusive books across the curriculum using an equity and inclusion lens. Recent research, newly published children’s literature and resources that focus on fostering empathy through picture books as part of culturally relevant and sustaining practices were shared with session participants.
