Get Motivated to Get Moving

Many of us are moving much less than we did prior to COVID-19. Get Motivated to Get Moving is a campus-wide motivation challenge to spend more minutes moving with the goal to reach 10,000 steps per day.

Who wants to “Get Motivated to Get Moving?”

If you are interested in receiving daily tips and motivational support, click on the link here to register.  Once we receive a list of people who want to “Get Motivated to Get Moving” we will start sharing information with you, and then we can share information with each other. Think of it as a support group!

The challenge is to get at least 10,000 steps per day – but it’s really about spending more minutes moving! If you don’t have any way to track steps, there are other ways to track your activity and we will share that with you as well.  We will also share specific ideas of how to get moving!  Come on – you are worth it!
