Sociology Student Wins Database Curator of the Year Award

Sociology major Jordan Marsh was awarded the Debbie Petty Memorial Community Resource Specialist Database Curator of the Year Award for their work with 211/LIFE LINE.

211/LIFE LINE is a community program of Goodwill of the Finger Lakes. They provide information and referral for health, human, and government services. They are also a regional call and chat center for 988 (formally known as National Suicide Prevention Lifeline).

The Alliance of Information and Referral Systems is the professional membership association for community Information and Referral (I&R). AIRS is the driving force behind delivering quality I&R services and the sole source for standards, program accreditation, and practitioner certification for the I&R sector.
