International Studies Professor Receives $5,000 Research Grant
Erik French will be receiving a $5,000 research grant from America in the World Consortium to fund a survey investigating the factors that affect the US public’s support for military intervention on behalf of US allies.
Dr. Erik French will be receiving a $5,000 research grant from America in the World Consortium (AWC) for his research. The AWC’s mission is “to better prepare the next generation to confront geopolitical challenges and advance American national interests and values abroad.”
The money will fund a survey experiment investigating the factors that affect the US public’s support for military intervention on behalf of US allies. The experiment results should have implications for US policymakers concerned with how to best maintain credible and robust alliance commitments abroad.
