Call for Events: International Education Week
The Center for Global Education and Engagement invites you to join the celebration of International Education Week, November 14 - 18, 2022, and share what internationally focused events are happening in and around our community.
International Education Week (IEW) is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of the efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn and exchange experiences.
IEW will be celebrated November 14 - 18, 2022.
While the CGEE will be hosting a series of in-person and virtual events, we would like to promote other events happening on campus and within our community. If your department or organization is hosting an internationally related event during IEW and would like the CGEE to advertise, please complete the Call for International Education Week Events 2022 form. To assure your event is added to the CGEE calendar and marketing material, please submit the form by Friday, November 4, 2022.
Ideas for events may include (but not limited to):
- Student social activity in collaboration with cultural clubs
- Round table discussion
- Workshops on internationally-focused topics
- Faculty panel presenting internationally-focused research
- Intercultural simulations
