Dr. Logan Rath presented a poster at the Information Behavior Conference: Information Seeking in Context (ISIC) 2022 at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin on September 27, 2022. His poster, “Information Literacy as a Social Practice: A Threshold Concept for Academic Instruction Librarians,” explained how academic instruction librarians come to see information literacy as socially situated.
The Information Seeking in Context (ISIC) conference is the academic home of the Information Behaviour research community. The biennial conference focuses on contextualized information activities, expressed in different forms such as Information Behaviour, Information Practice, Information Seeking, Information Experience and others.
