Annual Notification of the Campus Safety & Fire Safety Reports
SUNY Brockport’s Campus Safety Report is available online, required by federal law (Clery Act), and contains policy statements, crime statistics and information on how to report a crime. The policy statements address the procedures and programs concerning safety and security, for example, policies for responding to emergency situations. Three years’ worth of statistics are included for certain types of crimes that were reported to have occurred on campus, in or on off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the college, on public property owned or controlled by the college, and on public property within or immediately adjacent to the campus.
You may request a paper copy from the Office of the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs by calling (585) 395-2137.
The Campus Fire Safety Report, required by the Clery Act, includes a guide to on-campus student residence fire safety policies and requirements and a description of the on-campus student residence fire safety conditions and fire history.
Security cameras exist in various locations, these cameras provide another layer of security, just as Blue Light Phones, Emergency Voice Notification System and RAVE Alerting systems do, the cameras are not continuously monitored by the University Police department.
