Three to Receive Citations of Appreciation

Brockport Alumni Association to recognize 31 on Friday night, Oct. 7, during Homecoming & Family Weekend festivities.

The Brockport Alumni Association’s Citation of Appreciation honors individuals that have demonstrated sustained commitment through their services to and/or affiliation with the Alumni Association. Three alumni will be honored at Homecoming with this award, including:

• Recently-retired long-time staff member Deb Birkins ’81
• Former staff member and a current key alumni contact in the Atlanta, GA, area, Linda Mack-Simmons ’77
• Joshua Swanson ’12, an engineering manager with dunnhumby, LLC (formerly Aptaris, LLC) in Rochester who has lent critical time mentoring computer science students at the College
