National Transfer Student Week
National Transfer Student Week is October 17-21. There are many ways for SUNY Brockport faculty and staff to get involved with supporting the transfer student population at the College.
National Transfer Student Week is an opportunity for us to celebrate our transfer students, build awareness of some of the barriers to success that they face, empower them to achieve greater goals, and instill transfer pride on our campus. Here are some ways for you to get involved!
Are you a former transfer student? Share your story! You can use this link to share details about your journey as a transfer student. Your story will be shared with our transfer students to encourage them during their experience.
Interested in talking about your experience as a transfer student? We will be hosting a panel of Brockport faculty and staff, for the benefit of faculty, staff, and students, to raise awareness of the transfer experience. We will coordinate the time and date once the panel is finalized.
Nominate a Transfer Champion! Transfer students at SUNY Brockport contribute enormously to the richness of the community here, and we want to recognize them! Use this form to nominate a Transfer Champion. Nominations will be reviewed by staff in the ASC, and the selected student will be featured in upcoming transfer-related media, given Brockport swag, and a certificate recognizing their achievements!
