Complete the EagleSUCCESS Roster Verification Survey

The survey was sent to faculty email inboxes on September 12 and are due by September 25. Learn how to complete the survey and what to do if a student starts attending your class after you marked them as “never attended.”

When surveys open, instructors will receive an email with links to a survey for each course they teach. Surveys will also be accessible on the EagleSUCCESS home tab.

Go to the EagleSUCCESS Youtube Channel to see how to complete a Roster Verification Survey.

Being mindful to complete the survey correctly is more critical than ever due to the ongoing LMS migration from Blackboard to Brightspace.

Focus on these items:

  1. Complete the survey by the due date. If you miss the due date and there are students who should have been marked as “Never Attended”, contact EagleSUCCESS@brockport.edu ASAP.
  2. Use the survey to mark any student who has never attended and never logged into your course as “Never Attended”.
  3. If a student starts attending your course after being marked as never attended, log go to the student tracking tab in EagleSUCCESS, click the checkbox next to the student’s name and choose the resolve button near the top of the page.
  4. Add brief notes when you resolve/clear a flag so the student and advisors know why it was closed.

You can also choose to give students a “Your Off to a Great Start” Kudos or a “Course Progress Concern” Flag. Include a note to the student. For flags, include actionable next steps such as “Make an appointment with me,” or “Go to the Tutoring Center at the ASC”.
