Replacement of Cooper Hall Fire Panel

The Cooper Hall Fire Panel is being replaced on Tuesday, August 30 and Wednesday, August 31.

Beginning at 7 am tomorrow, contractors will be on site to replace the fire panels.This work is scheduled to be completed by end of day Wednesday, August 31, 2022.

During the duration of the Cooper Hall fire panel upgrade, the smoke/heat detectors and audio/visual alarms will not be functioning. A 24-hour fire watch has been enacted to continuously monitor for signs of smoke/fire in the building. Emergency notification will occur as follows:

Anyone who discovers an unsafe condition in Cooper Hall should immediately call University Police at (585) 395-2222. University Police will utilize the EVNS System to notify building occupants of any required evacuations in the building.

Further notifications may also be made utilizing the Rave system and/or SUNY Alert text messaging system.
