Shannon is currently an audit intern at Insero & Co., but also has completed an internship with the CASH Program. The CASH Program provided her the opportunity to use knowledge from her tax accounting courses to help provide low income families/individuals with preparing their tax returns. After completing this internship, Shannon felt more confident in her communication and analytical skills, both of which she has been able to apply in her current internship at Insero.
Shannon’s biggest piece of advice for current students is to take advantage of all of the opportunities the School of Business has to offer. More importantly, she stresses to not be afraid of uncertainty!
